WFSDallas’ Retail Pay$ is a unique partnership that offers clear retail career pathways for entry to midlevel employees. WFSDallas will train 750 current workers and 100 new workers in collaboration with the Dallas County Community College District, The LeCroy Center, Penn Foster, ASU, University of Maryland and other instructional institutions. The training goal is to improve the quality of skills to work and job specific skills for retention and advancement, including supervisory and management skills.
At the most recent 2015 Texas Workforce Commission conference at the Hyatt Regency Dallas, WFSDallas received three awards: Service to Business, Childcare Quality Award, and Performance Award for Claimant Reemployment.
