| Dr. Henrie
is Superintendent of Schools for the Mesquite Independent
School District. She has served the Mesquite Independent School
District for over 30 years. She received her Bachelor of Science
Degree from Stephen F. Austin University, Master of Business
Education from the University of North Texas, and Doctorate
in Educational Administration from Texas A & M - Commerce.
Dr. Henrie's professional affiliations include
Texas ASCD, Texas Elementary Principals Association, Texas
Association of School Administrators, and Texas Staff Development
Council. She serves on numerous educational committees and
has implemented many educational programs. Her community activities
include Mesquite Chamber of Commerce, Youth Services Advisory
Committee, Historic Mesquite , Inc., and Shiloh Terrance Baptist
Church.

Wright L. Lassiter, Jr.,
Ed.D.

| Wright L.
Lassiter, Jr. is Chancellor for Dallas County Community
College Distreict. He began his career in higher education
when he was appointed as an Instructor of Business at AIcorn
State University immediately upon his graduation from that
college. In May 2006 he was elected the Interim Chancellor
of the Dallas County Community College, thus becoming the
first African American chancellor.
Wright has authored a series of monographs, anthologies of
speeches, essays and sermons. He has published seven books.
He served as the co-author of two monographs published by
the American Association of Community Colleges.
Mr. Lassiter holds degrees from Alcorn State University (Bachelor
of Science, magna aim laude); Indiana University (MBA with
high honors); and Auburn University (doctorate in educational
administration and finance). He earned a theological doctorate
and was awarded the honorary Doctor of Humanities degree by
Dallas Baptist University.

Kay Irlas
Region X Educational Service Center

Since July 2010, Kay Irlas is a Career and Technical Education Coordinator II at the Region X Educational Service Center in Richardson. Some of her duties are to provide leadership, technical assistance, and staff development opportunities for teachers, counselors, and administrators, and implement career and technical programs. She also assesses program needs and effectiveness and assists districts in meeting program mandates and addressing any identified areas of need. From 2007 to 2010, Kay was a Career and Technical Education Coordinator at the Prosper ISD, where she effectively developed CTE programs of study for the district. Kay was also a Home Economics and Biology teacher in the Prosper ISD from 1991 to 2008. Kay is a member of the Region X CTE Advisory Committee, Career & Technology Association of Texas (CTAT), and the President Elect of the Career & Technology Educators of North Texas (CTENT) for 2010-2011.
