Each Veterans Month, we are reminded of the dedication, service, and sacrifice of the men and women who have worn our nation’s uniform. At WFSDallas, we believe the best way to honor that service is by helping veterans, transitioning service members, and their families connect with meaningful career opportunities.
This year’s Hiring Red, White & You Job Fair was an outstanding success. More than 530 job seekers from across Dallas came out to meet with employers, explore new career paths, and take the next step in their professional journeys. The room was filled with energy as attendees made new connections, shared their skills, and discovered opportunities that matched their goals.
The event also delivered real results. Over 40 on-the-spot contingent job offers were made on-site, giving many attendees the chance to walk out with a new opportunity in hand. Several others scheduled interviews that will continue opening doors in the days ahead.
Hiring Red, White & You is part of a statewide initiative focused on supporting veterans and helping employers access the valuable experience, leadership, and dedication that service members bring to the workforce. From information technology and healthcare to logistics, manufacturing, and more, veterans continue to strengthen the Dallas workforce every day.
