In partnership with the Workforce Training Academy and Job Corps, we are proud to offer specialized Aviation Sheet Metal Training, a program designed to take students from hands-on instruction directly into rewarding industry careers.
Fast-Track Training for an In-Demand Career
This intensive, 8-week program provides 133 hours of immersive classroom and hands-on instruction. Students master key skills, including precise fabrication, and structural assembly techniques, preparing them for industry-recognized certification.
Upon completion, graduates are directly matched with top local employers to launch their careers immediately.
While the training is valued at $7,000, it is 100% free for individuals who qualify through the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) program.
Student Spotlight: Braylen Martinez
When Braylen Martinez visited his local workforce center, he was looking for a path forward. Through the WIOA Young Adult Program, Braylen enrolled in the Aviation Sheet Metal Training at zero cost. He is currently working through the 133-hour curriculum and is well on his way to earning his certification and stepping onto the shop floor with a top aerospace employer.
“Connecting with the team at WFSDallas opened doors I didn’t know were available to me,” says Braylen. “The training is challenging, but knowing I have the full support of the program allows me to focus completely on mastering the trade and building my future.”
